We will have 2 fine choices after Librem 5 comes out :thinkhappy: (is it verified to actualy arrive??)

This is all about privacy / security.

When one wants blazing and latest hardware, latest and "greatest" apps +whatnot, one can just walk to a local store..

These 2 devices are a splendid starting points into an upcoming much larger world.

Thanks to Snowden, these kind of devices have now become a thing :linux:

      Annoyances with Game Stores
I’ve occasionally complained on my livestreams about the state of the various online game stores that are out there and how they all carry annoying caveats that make it sometimes tricky to try and figure out where to get your games. However, a recent article on GOL made me decide to write down some of these thoughts of mine here on my blog. I am of course writing as a Linux customer exclusively, so I won’t be taking into consideration services like Uplay or Origin or Blizzard’s Battle.

Never had problems with Mint before, also concerning new comers.

Gotta keep in mind that T60 is a very old thing; MX takes less resources than Mint (with Xfce or Cinnamon desktops).

Lutris 0.5 (BETA) is out with GOG game store support!

Indeed: a 3rd party talent has to put GOG support when GOG themselves cannot even put out a Linux launcher, despite the promise from years back now.

Is GOG getting paid for NOT providing a Linux support from the likes of Microshaft in the shadows?

Launch your games from one user interface. It comes with tons of options including Steam, Wine, emulators +more.
