there was an interesting case of that for a product called virtkick.io (AGPL core, then paid plus version), but that was early in VC, and they changed business model to be a service provider instead -

NoScript - I never stick with it long, but each time I come back I am amazed by the continuing fracturing of the web. So many sites can't serve a single page without loading outside assets from many 3rd parties. -

I am dealing with some llvm version discomfort as well, as somebody needs 4+ as a build dep, and Centos 7 only ships with 3.9. Shouldn't be too hard, hopefully it's in scl or something. -

I remember using a download manager to obtain Star Office via dial up. I think it took parts of 3 days total to obtain - something like 75MB IIRC. -
