Life hack if an oAuth app asks for too many permissions on your GitHub profile, just remove (parts of) the "scope" parameter. Not sure why this isn't a built-in feature, tbh. Also works on some other websites with oAuth.
An NPM package with 2,000,000 weekly downloads had malicious code injected into it. No one knows what the malicious code does yet.

Found an interesting spam/scam scheme today:
- Attacker posts their link that redirects to a legit news article
- Twitter resolves the redirect to news article
- Twitter hides link from Tweet and displays Twitter Card with news domain
- Attacker changes redirect to spam site
The Tweet now displays a legit looking Twitter Card with the news website domain, but actually goes to the scammer.

simple vulns are the best: turned out you can reset a facebook pw with a 6 digit code and that you could bruteforce on their beta instance which didn't have a rate limit https://medium.freecodecamp.org/responsible-disclosure-how-i-could-have-hacked-all-facebook-accounts-f47c0252ae4d
I'm looking for FOSS audio software that lets me:
- Control the queue from multiple devices
- Support local files, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc as queue items
- Preferably also allow AirPlay/Chromecast/etc input
- Stream synchronized audio to multiple WiFi devices
I do realize I probably need to stitch this together using multiple pieces of software.
Any recommendations?
Does something similar exist?
