By Barry Crist from Chef Blog

TopTal is a recruiting firm. I guess the idea with these articles is to get devs to actually come to the site.

there's a lot going on here, but the thing that sticks out to me is this company isn't even licensed in Minnesota. Sounds like a scam, tbh: https://nu.federati.net/url/276926

Calls for armed guards, 'Army for Trump' volunteers vex Minnesota election officials
      from Star Tribune
Amid preparations complicated by the pandemic, state and federal officials are monitoring new reports of private security contractors advertising jobs that would — illegally — dispatch armed guards to Minnesota polls.

If I worked for a defens(c)e dept, don't think I would be shouting that we use Debian. https://www.nobleprog.com/debian-training

I get that security through obscurity is not really a thing, but that's the sort of situation where you are likely to get targeted attacks. You might as well make them figure that out too.

Seems the hold up in getting a listing might be the determination of how many people we actually need. Seems destined to happen, but when...I can't yet say.

Google started editing people's e-mails in GSuite, replacing links with a link through google.com:https://mobile.twitter.com/sneakdotberlin/status/1317734739537653760https://twitter.com/tblodt/status/1317875714981416962?s=20

This means that Google will track a click on a link *in e-mail* even if you're using an external client.

I am *guessing* this is under the pretext of phishing protection, but it actually *creates* additional phishing risk for text-only clients, since now all links are google.com links.
