@orbifx he got a blog, just search john baez math. He also write blog for AMS. But, his google plus account, has best content, e.g. he try to write it so undergrad math student can understand, and he often answer questions... ( wikipedia as an entry about him)

but google plus is dying, has been for many years. Now less people engage. he has expressed frustration.

also, he is a trump hater. Am saddened by that.

@orbifx oh, not sure about viability. fb/twitter/google has killed them, replaced them with brainless clickbait sites.

i used to be in mailing list of mathematicians... ~1995 to ~2005. Not sure they still run. But i guess some community is still going.

john baez is a great source btw. Look at his blog, and i think u can find other sources.

now i just study and write blogs.

but i find it's prob better to simply be determined to read text books. ask question if necessary. social media usually distract.
