Just FYI, Mastodon v2.6.0 web client adds a nice feature that makes having inline RSS feeds (via something like my RSS-to-ActivityPub converter, https://bots.tinysubversions.com/convert ) much more convenient. The feature adds a "read more" to any post that is taller than a certain number of pixels, so now my "podcasts" list renders in a way that makes more sense. ("Read more" opens up a detail dialogue where you can read the full post in-client.)
I just started to listen to #podcasts. And I'm looking for a good #podcast player that runs on #android. Bonus points if it's available via @fdroidorg .

"New York brought in a new system where #Uber drivers are effectively guaranteed $15 an hour after costs. The idea is that for every hour the driver is logged on to the system, Uber has to top up the driver’s pay if they don’t reach the threshold through fares. What it means is that Uber no longer has any incentive to oversupply the platform with drivers."
And so it appears that #FontAwesome v5 can't be distributed with #Debian anymore because they don't provide source files and build process since their latest update. Making it a potentially non-free package.
Because of that, some software are missing icons.
So Free Software developers, if you want to be included in Debian and use Font Awesome, you should probably switch to #ForkAwesome. ;)
@neauoire Thx. I had read about the Iridium Go. But missed the part about the Fiji. I guess you weren't there yet when I read it. I'm also curious of how this affects you dev setup. Do you keep a mirror of npmjs for example. How do you manage a functioning dev env these days? (I know, those are ridiculous questions from the broadband always-on world that I work in)
@neauoire I'd be curious to see a video explanation of that setup or an article some time. I'm interested in community networks and low bandwidth modes of (network) existence. It seems you found something that works well for you and I'm curious to hear more about it.
