I forgot to add, the attachment to the said tool/service also gets stronger if the user is presented with a tool that does not provide the user with the exact functions or interface.

    >of dropbox
Anykind of tool/service which provides the means to a goal will make people attached to it, especially in first usage thus they will want to use it again.
The attachment to such tool/service is even amplified if the content of the goal provides more dopamine, it reinforces itself.
The attachment is again even greater if the tool is the first one of it's kind to be used by a said user, it reinforces attachment and thus creates future nostalgia.
Even if that tool has to pass taught their rectum users will be happy to achieve their goal.
And that's because they don't perceive it as such, it provided what they wanted while being totally ignorant on what it actually is/does.

    >It was a delightful day
    Nice.
    >And you?
Sneezing a lot and mucus pouring out of my nose, got a cold.
Lots of wind, humid and cold. We had a bit of sunshine at 2pm then it went away.
I did a short walk with my dog, I wasn't much motivated and rain started pouring so I used that excuse to come back.
One of the chickens has began to attack part of the group, one is wounded, so I separated the aggressive one for the night, gonna chops a few heads tomorrow with my father.
Right now I'm trying to solve some OS migration problem on a 2006 pc with vista, which was full of malware, registry seems to be fugged, rights are missing and common repair tools aren't working, gonna try to do it on a boot cd after these few tasks fails too. I've been on this machine for quite some time. Gotta deliver it in two days.

I hope that it will go well.
    >you probably have to be a bit "special" to do this year after year tbh
Idk the full conditions but passionate and patient seems to be the two major conditions.
    >rinse & repeat.
Not the most unpredictable part of the year for you I guess.

I wish too. My technique to know what printer to buy the good printer is to try and see in the store. I ask if I can print a test page with the said exposition model and if it works I take it.

    >by people who grow old but don't grow up
I agree, even tho I think I'm not a position to say such words.
In the end all comes to choice, comfort, freedom, risk, short term, long term....
Most people live day to day, coming back at home and seeking to max out comfort before waking up the next day.
We live in an age where individual productivity is maxed out, to the point of alienation.

    >no one seems to care
It's not that no one seams to care it's that people don't interpret correctly the differences between physical and digital (due to an abyssal lack of knowledge and that nobody wants to not have their hourly dopamine rush that $ProprietarySoftware/Services provides.

    >Anyone used one?
I only used ones for small business (brother), they aren't made to be safely refilled, but you can do it yourself. I suppose that those who are to be refilled can be done without buying a paint suite and a mask.
It's worth it in terms of savings, the cost of buying toner instead of cartridges is divided by 20. Instead of a 0.10 cent a page it's 0.01 cent. The maintenance of the printer is what cost most after doing that.

I'm in a similar situation but that because I don't have the external enclosures. Otherwise I'd have to swap hdds often to sort all this out.
