so the usual scheme is coming through nicely here

it goes something like this
* make a stupid plan nobody likes
* dismiss all criticism, if any, as it's just a plan and you won't do anything now
* don't do anything for the next 10 years
* unshelve the plan in the crisis mode and push it through, discarding all criticism again

easy.

@cpsdqs well, I started to use vs code quite a lot too, emacs is really clumsy and old in many ways.

Like, it's older than unicode. And it has kind of a different thing internally. And the ui. And how it's all single thread. And...

@cpsdqs no you don't, you install evil and only use the emacs keys to control the environment, like switching buffers, opening files, running commands and so on, not for the text editing

@cpsdqs fun fact, vim understands this key command as well and gives you kind of an Easter egg.

But like, emacs keys for commands are nice.
