@witchfynder_finder there are a couple Rick & Morty episodes where they just watch TV from alternate timelines, which is basically just twenty minutes of Justin Roiland doing terrible improv. The D&D author decided that it would be funny to let D&D characters use scrying spells (like clairvoyance, etc.) to look into alternate timelines of your D&D game.
