I'm looking for references on paratext (specifically about foot/endnotes and commentary, how does one decide when they're needed and what kind of information should go in them) but I'm struggling to figure out how to search for it. My school's library is currently on strike so I can't go look through the shelves (yes this is a thing I actually do, stop judging me) and it doesn't seem to have a list of the books in their collections, either. So I need keywords. ;_;

I was talking with folks earlier about how people don't use hashtags as much as they could on #Mastodon, and it's because seeing a post full of tags is kind of icky, and people don't want to feel spammy.

It's actually really cool that people are being considerate and trying not to spam each other! I'm into that. 🙂 But I'm also sad because it means it's harder to find posts.

So I made a Github issue for putting tags at the end of posts under a "show tags" button.
