you can't search a wikipedia page on mobile because all the sections are collapsed and there's no obvious way to expand them so you have to manually visit the desktop version, and who has time for that?! we're on mobile!
@uranther@zigg the problem is, we can talk about how much better decentralization would be (and i like doing that), but our tools for it tend to be primitive. even mastodon isn't really decentralized, by some folks' definitions, because it does rely on individual centralized servers. and we can look at how one instance recently crashed and, practically speaking - even though the federated toots are "out there" - the data (and certainly accounts) aren't easily salvageable.
The rogue software was observed to open TCP ports 69 and 420 to the public internet. After establishing a connection on one of these ports, the routers responded with the ASCII text "nice" and closed the connection.
Researchers were unable to find any evidence of malicious behavior, one team going so far as to affectionately dub this latest type of infection "radware."

please be mindful not to casually use bigoted terms that are demeaning to others with respect to their abilities, disabilities, mental health, etc (e.g. cr*zy, id**t, m*r*n, n*tj*b, d*mb). it can be a hard habit to break. i've occasionally slipped. just keep trying.
if you don't know much about ableist language, by all means feel free to look it up. plenty have written about it, why it's bad, & things you can say instead.
