@Bobo_PK Tusky (usually) just uploads stuff to Mastodon and Mastodon does the resizing. Except when you are over the 8Mb limit, then Tusky also does some resizing.
Is there a problem? It should just work fine & transparent for the user.

@uniq nope it doesn't prevent that because most networking libraries don't care about the header and app devs are too lazy to handle it. But yes I agree it should be present to at least give them the possibility to.

Security and cookie headers are completely unneeded on REST-Api responses, am I right?

@jr yes we update the font but the app has currently no way of detecting that. We should fix it.
