I would like to go work on some electronics or read a book outside, but it's still 29-feels-like-32 with 65% RH and I nearly passed out earlier in it.

so I'm stuck in the one room in the house with cooling....which only has my computer desk and ergonomic chair. not really comfy for relaxing :/

@interneteh I've listened to a lot of it, and in general, it's really good.

it has some parts that get problematic really fast, but I try and cut them slack. They're doing good work, I think.

if others do this, PLEASE educate yourself about Legionnaire's disease, especially if you are immuno-compromised. Maintain your equipment well, and if you're building your own, avoid aerosolization.

Evaporative cooling works best in dry, hot climates where you can keep a window or door open while it's being used. "Regular" AC is better in humid climates/for drying humid spaces, or where water is scarce.
