The shittiest part of adulthood is knowing that sometimes you just don't have the energy for everyone and people you previously cared about will at times drift away and that your friendships/relationships will change.
I know that I can make an effort to keep people in my life but I also realize I'm limited in the amount of bandwidth I can give to people in my life. I can only extend myself so far.
It's hard to accept this sometimes.
