Are there good examples of second-tier #coops creating benefit pools for their first-tier co-ops?

@dazinism @GuerillaOntologist I agree there's a lot of social reorganizing that needs to happen, but it's not an either/or question. We'll need new technology, too -- or what seems new to most people. Maybe the first steps in reorganizing society can happen around the technology.

@GuerillaOntologist Yup, that's a good one. I wonder if filtration could be integrated at some point, and the the water could be potable.

Another option that fascinates me is flywheels, but I don't have a very good understanding of the engineering.

@GuerillaOntologist I wonder if we could use some combination of boats/barges, hot-air balloons, and wind-powered trains. I've also been contemplating energy storage that uses common, local materials exclusively.
