@tuturto a woman is selling a house. Her HAM husband passed away some 5yrs ago. She asked my cousins Ameture Radio club if anyone wanted the stuff because she was just going to scrap it.

We took down a 50' tower with rotor and 2 yaggi's. And hauled out 3 truck beds with of gear and parts.

Day 3/3 finishing up with this tower. Get a HAM license they said. It'll be fun they said. :P

@timttmy its all on the ground now. Took 3 of us, 2 days. 5h the first, and 6 today.

And we still need to do clean up and pack it all on a trailer.

Ooof there is a lot to it.

@K_J_Holmes I get it from time to time. I enjoy it. My few trips over that way had me stopping in every pub to try something new. All delicious! Except for one... in Manchester I think... Hobgoblin? That one wan't my thing. But, all the others, top notch.

If I lived over there I'd pack on 40lbs between the good beer and the full English breakfasts. :P

Ok, two books in the vacation basket thanks to suggestions. One fiction. One non-fiction. I'll probably look for 2 more.

This place we go to has a "Beach Lending Library". You can leave a book behind on a shelf and people can borrow it to read on the beach.

I'm curious if the book I left last year, How to Count to Infinity, is still there.
