These last few years I've taken to going to be quite early. Sleeping by ~9pm.

@morph There is a strange, closed up, area in that house on the 3rd floor. Its about the size of 1/2 of a modern fridge.
Thinking about it today, I bet its a safe in there!
(The place was one large house/mansion way back when. Its since been converted in to 9 apartments.)
The apartments now have lowered, 8 foot ceilings. But the original ceilings went up to 12 feet. So all this is now hidden above. Here is some of the original crown molding/wall covering:
