@ChrisWilson Nice! Mine is acting up after it warms up. I start hearing pop corn sounds. Then it will start to screech at full volume. Its a project I'll have to dig into one of these days.

How else would a chimp make tea.

Direct wire you remove the ballast. There are LED T8's that run off ballast voltage.

@cobra2 if they are direct wire, you pull the ballast out and run 120 right to the sockets. You ha e to put a big warning sticker in here to warn the next guy.

I'm not sure how they are stepping down. I wonder what the red things are. Maybe MOV's. Could be caps...

@cobra2 looks like a full wave rectifier there. Those must be he direct wire tube that use 120v. So, 120v ac to 5v dc.

Off to the garden to see what else I can put in a salad to go with the grilled steaks.

@jonkulp I'm afraid I haven't seen any of it. Today was meet up with a buddy at 11am. Then the LUG. Then the After Meeting Meeting at the PUB. Then over to my cousins 50th b-day.

I just got in about 20min ago. I'll see if its still on.
