@mnw Unfortunately, I miscounted the Ram. Its 4-4gb sticks. (I bought them quite some time back.)

So, its 16gb. But, plenty for ZFS.

@beni I recently gave my old x230 to my (11 yr old) niece and nephews. I put Mint LTS on it. They all have accounts. Their father is root. (He is *-*one of us*-*. But he is still a gamer.) He'll have to figure Linux out now! :P

I said all that to say this, I realized I didn't take any of the stickers off my old rig!

Well, we'll see if this new generation of hackers can track me down via the stickers. :P

You're jumping into the deep end of the pool here, Don. ;) Most of the people I follow/talk with tend to have found each other from the tech/Linux podcast scene over the last 12-15yrs. Sorry if there is a in-joke here or there. But yes, Beni only wears black.

I've just never owned Apple stuff. The last Apple I used was a friends Apple IIe in the 80's.

I played some game on it. It was medieval themed. Might have been Kind Arthur or something. I remember it had a physical map.

Ha, no. I picked it for fun. I keep that pick set in the truck. You'd be surprised, I have to pick a lock about every 3 months or so.

Control cabinets, switch gear, panel box's, etc...
