@jezra Oh... I met up with Windigo recently. (He made a NY visit and attended the LUG)
He says service isn't so great up your way.

@jezra Are you going to get some proper pipes?
@theru lightning needs someplace to go.
@don @cobra2 they are posted on the fences at the radio towers in rail yards. I was just installing a sub-panel in one. One side of my face feels sunburned. :P
I should get one of these for my house, @don:
@mnw Unfortunately, I miscounted the Ram. Its 4-4gb sticks. (I bought them quite some time back.)
So, its 16gb. But, plenty for ZFS.
/me repurposes the old MythTV rig for a whole house FreeNAS box
32gb fresh mem and three 1TB drives installed.
@don I just searched by zip code. 49 HAM's in my town. Who knew!
@don we're dealing with a gov agency here... It might take months. :P
@beni I recently gave my old x230 to my (11 yr old) niece and nephews. I put Mint LTS on it. They all have accounts. Their father is root. (He is *-*one of us*-*. But he is still a gamer.) He'll have to figure Linux out now! :P
I said all that to say this, I realized I didn't take any of the stickers off my old rig!
Well, we'll see if this new generation of hackers can track me down via the stickers. :P
@beni Its better that way. I've never told "real life" friends/family my nick.
This is all just for us.
@beni what would your students say if you told them you regularly talk to a chimpanzee with a gun?
@beni @don He he, he is not kidding. Its black tee's or nothing with him.
You're jumping into the deep end of the pool here, Don. ;) Most of the people I follow/talk with tend to have found each other from the tech/Linux podcast scene over the last 12-15yrs. Sorry if there is a in-joke here or there. But yes, Beni only wears black.
...And he is actually a green ASCII skull! (Ok, that last part I made up.)
@don Some iPhone people around might be able to point you in the right direction.
I've just never owned Apple stuff. The last Apple I used was a friends Apple IIe in the 80's.
I played some game on it. It was medieval themed. Might have been Kind Arthur or something. I remember it had a physical map.
This was a looong time ago. ;)
@don Well, I doubt it was ios. ;)
For phones its Tusky. There might be others. But, that is what I've been using since day one.
@don Cool! I SSH'ed into SDF about a month ago. But, that was the first time in quite a while!
You better start following some other people or you're going to have a wall of me. :P
Ha, no. I picked it for fun. I keep that pick set in the truck. You'd be surprised, I have to pick a lock about every 3 months or so.
Control cabinets, switch gear, panel box's, etc...
It's always, "Charley from maintenance had those keys. But, he retired 8 years ago."

@beni ha, the black one is right next to the green one. Get that CC out!
@beni I bought one of these is dark red way back when. They don't seem to have that color any more:
There is lots of SDF swag:
