My uncle has a telescoping radio tower. Stowed its ~25 feet. Raised its 50+feet.

He was climbing up it once while it was raised and it started to come down!

Options, jump ~25feet or break every finger then fall ~25f.

The two parts of the tower hit is steel toes first and stopped, saving him.

He does say he had to sheepishly call to his wife and teach her how to crank up the tower. :P

@chalkahlom Ah, got it. I was lost. ;)

If you want to go en pointe, best way to avoid fatigue is steel toes. I'll spare you the video.
