@matt It was a surprise to us, too. There were the usual tweaky things like “your rate limit on this should probably be tighter”, but nothing substantial at all.
"Good afternoon, Pam. I'm Josh from IT. We're about to migrate your Citrix instance to a new server. I'm going to send you a 6 digit number. I'll need you to read that off to me. As a reminder, IT will never ask for your password."
My company paid $$$ for a pen test to satisfy some contracts. The end result:
"I think I finished testing, no new vulnerabilities were identified. The features and functionalities that application has are perfectly validating attacking chances."
Not gonna lie, feeling kinda badass this afternoon.
"I'm waiting for the DataFrame to populate" is the new "I'm waiting for tests to finish" is the new "I'm waiting for it to compile" is the new "have you finished booting it yet?"
Confession: I detest mail-in voting. Imagine the biggest asshole you know. Now think of them "helping" their partner or kids or employees vote "the right way", multiplying the power of their asshole ballot.
Voting can't be free unless it's anonymous. Mail-in voting isn't anonymous. I know the reasons why people like it, but I think they're outweighed by the inherent loss of privacy in marking your choices where there could potentially be others watching.
Ugh - my aunt is sick in the hospital. She'll be just fine, I'm sure, but I'm strongly disliking this whole "becoming acutely aware that one's parents are getting older" stage of life.
@CharredStencil That wouldn’t be a sufficient reason for me. I don’t know or care who you talk to. If you wanted to chat with him on that instance, go for it. Just please try not to drag it back over here. 🙂
