i complain about this online every year so i'll try to tone it down a little bit this time. but i'm still going to say:

y'all live in a desert. stop blowing stuff up. neighborhoods burn every year. that's not a good way to celebrate. just cheat a little bit and try some black tea or something.

from approx 2 days ago until around the 25th, it's fireworks season in utah. (at the end of the month is the day the mormons celebrate, i assume, finding a less crappy place to live than all of the deserts and mountains that surround this valley).

it doesn't look so terrible now

my little gitweb alternative in node mostly kinda works now. it's ugly and missing branch and tag support, but you can run it!

happy independence day, i hope you have less people lighting off fireworks outside your apartment this week than i do

for those of you who have never had an american hot dog, it's kind of like a nice bratwurst minus all the flavor, also small, possibly boiled rather than grilled (how i was raised), and you put it in a potato bun and slap some ketchup and mustard (over here we call yellow sauce mustard even though it tastes nothing like mustard) on. best eaten lukewarm while being sad about politics.

i don't even like hot dogs, but since i have spent the past very many holidays entirely alone, i bought some so that i could remember how terrible they are

can't wait to eat warm puppies maybe with some squished up tomatos and vague pickle shit

it's the Big American Holiday tomorrow so i bought some blazing wolves and bread, as one does
