What strikes me after the #RedHat + #IBM news hit, in the midst of roller coaster emotions, myriad of questions, discussions and LinkedIn queries etc., is the outpouring of support and concern I have received. No matter how the outcome of this will affect businesses, cultures and careers, I'm always thankful for my family, friends, colleagues and #communities. These connections stay with me and give me strength/guidance going forward, so THANK YOU ☺️❤️

I'll say more about the musical another time, but thought these lyrics fitting in current situation (or at least my state of mind).

Let's see if Big Blue + Red Hat can become Purple Hat, something new and innovative while retaining the open culture and spirit. (Plus purple is my favourite colour 😉). Don't write #RedHat off yet, bring on tomorrow, we can't wait.
