@jjg I then bought a small server with a few TBs of hard drive space and set up a nextcloud instance with separate logos for everyone. Now they neighbors of the neighbors want in and so on, so I've been discussing it with the HOA and we may be setting up a neighborhood server after Christmas and I'll be a very busy bee because I am the only one who knows how to do this in a neighborhood of paranoid retirees.

@jjg will it started with just myself and my next door neighbors. We got talking and they decided to let me install DD-WRT on their routers and mesh our networks, paying only for business class internet. It turned out to be cheaper for all of us. I created a landing page for us and logins, the works. Then I realized that we could have our own internal network. Our houses are close enough that the network is seamlessly strong. (continued)
