@dolus I guess that is one way of putting it! :')
-
@dolus Phone posting is killing me today. I meant assuming social status is what one desires.
-
@dolus Assuming social status is what ocan be eane desires and ignorance isn't at play, then the path of least resistance is a powerful drug that is hard to resist. Sleeping your way to the top can be easier than all the other steps combined to make it big. Get rich quick schemes are a thing for a reason too.
-
@wizard Thanks! I'm gonna need this. :s
-
@ I can understand words on paper, just not to the same extent as seeing something done in practice. It is a different experience. I like visuals best. You do realise we didn't always have writing, right? That would have evolved later. I don't think everyone thinks/learns best in the way I do... Although you seem to think this with your own examples.
-
Thank you to eveeryone that has tried to help me thus far. I appreciate it. I hope we can get to the bottom of why I can't get to the login screen soon enough.
-
After many hours figuring this out... I have what appears to be a working USB stick to load manjaro up. Tomorrow will involve the real fun! Live install... Hmm.
-
I'm not sure if multiwriter will do this task for me but at least something is happening now.
-
@ I just said I can read. But visuals are best for my brain especially for memory. It is easier to be guided by a visual than just writing and that is likely how our brains evolved before writing was so widespread. Have you tried not being edgy before? :^)
-
@ Haha. I do read, but my brain works better with visuals that can be processed better. I imagine stories best in this way to my dismay considering I would like to write them down!
-
I want to like terminal better but my brain processes images/visuals better. Sorry terminal nerds. :^)
-
@wizard I'm going to have to change things the hard way. At least I have deduced the login is automatic!
-
@wizard Honestly? I would like to know this answer too. Apparently it just worked. Oh boy... Everything seems to involve those! :')
-
@lnxw48a1 I have no idea how we got in without a password.
-
@wizard There lies the problem indeed. No one knows the password. I will need a tutorial on how to change it. @_@
-
@wizard This is a borrowed laptop. :')
-
@wizard No worries. Is there another way to do this without needing a password? Sudo password has been forgotten I believe. I forgot it would ask. >.<
-
Thank you. This is very helpful. Looks like it is under sdb1. I might want to use that instead?
-
I wonder if this is one of those weird sudo problems?
-
Phone posting... Who does that?
