:) I want to be on the current patch level - so October 5 on my nexus. and there is a new patch at the end of next week. I don't think Samsung does that. Lenovo is more or less a security nightmare on android. -

the thing is if you want updates you should go with a pixel 2 something but given the screen/ticking noise they don't seem like something I want. Then there is samsung - great screen camera but no updates. There is also some of the Chinese ones - great hardware. Some of them do software updates but no privacy. So all in all it's a mess -

I used to go there all the time - but most of the books that I read now is either on my phone or kindle (I think I can rent ebooks from there but it seems like a hazel with drm stuff).
