@doctorx I have a few friends from Ukraine. Ukraine has an anti-state-socialist history. socialism does not have to be slavery more than capitalism, when it is driven by self-organisation, mutual aid and free peoples associations. My socialism is not for goverment, not for rulers.

@ShaunBartone and yes, this is one of my favorite lectures of cameron on Design. Also take a look at Tony Fry, who got mentioned by Cameron. There are 3 Talks online on YT to watch, one has audio input issues.

@ShaunBartone well, Cameron is very great for his deep understanding of Transition. I was part of a lecture series on Change and Transition at CMU Pittsburg in 2016. They offer the Transition Design curriculum, do yourself a favor and check out Terry Irwin, Gideon Kossoff (student of Bookchin) and others around that programm.

@benni Du selbst hängst doch einer Kommunalisierungsidee an, die vom kleinen ins größere mündet an anstatt eines Top-Down-Ansatzes. Nur weil die Zeiten scheiße sind, ist das kein Argument, gegen das tun.

@trwnh @a_breakin_glass well, that is easy, what in other regions was the base of socialism, to do it yourself with others among your class, got absorbed into what made the american dream for few. but until the socialism is decentralised around pracitices among communities and societies, it will not be successful in the US

I do not trust these american young people who favor socialism, because they understand a state-centric socialism within it, not a anti-state freedom centric socialism.

@benni jetzt verzweifel du nicht auch noch daran, dass die welt ein wenig komplexer als die Frage "nach dem Weltfrieden" geworden ist. Die Antwort ist eine alte: Der Umsturz der Verhältnisse beginnt im kleinen, im anders machen, im menschen nicht als geknechtete behandeln, sondern als gleiche mit gleichwertigen Interessen. Was brauchst du, damit das funktioniert? Lets organize this!

@benni weshalb diese "Bewegungspolitik" allenfalls zur Bewusstseinsschaffung brauchbar ist. Was angesicht der Aufmerksamkeitsökonomie noch mehr in Frage gestellt werden kann als bisher. Das Problem ergibt sich, wo es bei Bewegungspolitik bleibt und nicht mehr der Übergang zur Tat stattfindet. Was nutzt Bewusstsein, ohne anderes tun. Da sind die "Mittel der Bewusstseinsschaffung" eben auch beliebig und Ziele austauschbar.
