@nick0515 Okey. :) I would consider Mate being a good option for beginners because it behaves like a classic desktop. But I don't expect everything to like it though, especially if you're new to computers overall and might be used to this Metro crap. :P

I just learned that you can lazy load things in zsh. I just went from an average start time at 129ms to 69ms just by lazy loading a few Ruby exports. :D

@nick0515 What was a disaster with Mint? I know very little about it, but I thought it was a beginners distro?
