@kevie @grmpyoldman I'm still here - if I count ;) not very active though. I think the folks of the old fediverse are now spread over too many platforms which aren't fully compatible.

@marcus I never used it myself but Collabora Online on Nextcloud could be an option.

@NYbill @navigium well getting Hubzilla to talk to Mastodon is more like trying to bridge IRC to Usenet... I bet this never worked flawlessely.. ;)

@kevie Ok, I mixed up North and South. That's basically what I meant to say ;) I'm planning to take the ferry from Oben to Barra and then back from Stornoway to Ullapool.

@perloid Britain's trains are a walk in the park when it comes to transporting bicycles. It's France and the Eurostar I'm worried about.

@kevie Is it correct that it is wind-wise advisable to cycle the outer Hebrides from South to North rather then the other way round?
