LOL oh i also had to add some language lines on my .cshrc file on the clusters to make this work 😂 i could not install ibus-anthy on my freebsd machine i always get install errors so i stick with scim-anthy. BTW MixMig fonts for some reason were already install on my machine idk where they came from LOL font-manager and one character map program have been very helpful finding that perfect font👏 U r welcome!!! 👍👍

@nydel oh ok it's fine. apparently 80x24 screen cuts of the 「い 」character in 「ごさいます」 but fine in larger screens hmmm oh well. let me know if this works for u! 👍

@nydel hiya! ✌️ OK I tried phlogging in Japanese and here are my findings 😂💦 (3 images). Make sure your terminal is set to show UTF-8 and Japanese fonts (I use MigMix 1M font... it's pretty). My virtual terminal is xterm. @jebug29 try researching it off the web and see if it is worth it. 53USD to upgrade seems fine but make sure it works or else it would be wasted

@jebug29 that pc with linux may be faster hehe if you can upgrade your G4 with more RAM for $50 maybe it's ok... but anything over that, i would rethink if i were u

@jebug29 unless you use it for whatever pre-installed software in it then it's ok but it will hiccup if you use a gui web browser and try browsing on the web.. unless you avoid multimedia-infused websites?
