A while ago I ranted how I wanted a Firefox extension that would archive all webpages I visit so I could full text search my personal browsing history.

Well, I think I found it! No idea how I missed it before in my searches:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/worldbrain/

It's still indexing my browsing history but so far so good!

Freedom of the Press Foundation is hiring again :)

This role has more of an administrative bent -- managing relationships with news orgs who use our services, e.g., SecureDrop support & digital security trainings -- but it also includes tier 1 support for SecureDrop, and room for technical advancement.

A great "starter" role if you want to get into tech nonprofit work, are super-organized, & are into digital security in particular. Remote -friendly (US time zones):

Hey folks, some of you helped my family, and I don't know who you are. They don't carry over online handles into PayPal. ^_^

If you don't want to get in touch, that's fine. Thank you so much!

I'd like to connect with you, though (maiki@interi.org). We are in this together, and when I'm not being thrashed, I'm actually an excellent resource, and I want to be ever so slightly in your orbit so I can help when needed. So please, shoot me an email or private message or whatever.

    Thanks!

My Fiance is trying to make some money freelance. He is a very talented writer and has done editing for his employeer's marketing department for a number of years.

He has been advertising his services on more traditional social media sites; but it occurs to me folks on the Fediverse could need services too.

    I've attached his flyer.

Hi folks. Our family is having cash issues; big invoices haven't been paid, and I'm broke. We chose to survive by ensuring we have food, but now we can't afford my partner Susan to cover public transit costs to make it to new work orientation next week.

If you have anything to spare, please consider helping our family.

    https://talkgroup.xyz/t/please-help-our-family-cover-transportation-costs-for-next-week/3107

Unfortunately, sans cash in person, our recourse is using PayPal: `susan@interi.org`

    Thanks.

    > On March 26, 2019, a malicious version of the popular #bootstrap #sass package, that has been downloaded a total of 28 million times to date, was published to the official #RubyGems repository. Version 3.2.0.3 includes a stealthy backdoor that gives attackers remote command execution on server-side #Rails applications.
