Mastodon will never upload anything larger than a couple megs except for archives

I don't want to just dump them to disk, and parts may be uploaded out-of-order (in fact, the archive uploader does this) so I can't just hash it on-the-fly

so I guess I need to de-hack-ify my implementation of finishing multipart uploads
