today at a meeting of founders/providers of open access repositories, I was speaking and this guy (who was dominating the convo, btw) started talking in the middle of my sentence and I didn't stop and neither did he.

we just both speaking at the same time.

It was infuriating but I held in check my instinct to stop talking when he did -- overcame some internalized misogyny!

like really though, what the fuck is wrong with people?

My hotel wifi is giving me flashbacks to my dial-up internet days.
