You can avoid #YouTube's weird algorithms and broken subscription system by subscribing to channels through RSS instead. You don't need an account, just a feed reader.

Put the channel's username in this address:

https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user=USERNAME

You can then add this RSS address to your feed reader app.

For example, OnePotChefShow's RSS feed is:

https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user=OnePotChefShow

You can also make RSS feeds from channel IDs (strings of letters and numbers):

https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=CHANNELID

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends.

Toulouse métropole a ouvert une enquête publique concernant la #publicité dans la ville et alentours (mais on peut y répondre même si on n'y habite pas).
Plus que 4 jours pour dire que vous pensez qu'il n'y a pas assez de pubs, peu d'écrans numériques, qu'elles ne sont pas suffisamment intrusives et sexistes et qu'on ne les voit pas assez. 👍

I'm seriously considering starting to use pictures like this now, everytime someone ask a question with 0 context.

My raspberrypi arrived at 12:30, by 13:30 I had @yunohost up and running and the ports of my router set up!
The next step, installing some apps. Mysql was not running but a quick ask to the amazing community and in less than 30min I already had an answer. Now i have my own selfhosted cloud!!!

What an amazing soft and even better community.
