    If the placeholder is almost the same as the label, do we need it?
    I even wonder if we need placeholders at all. Even when used to tell about the expect format, as soon as users enter something, they loose the formating information and need to empty the field to get it back.

      It’s that time again. Regular like clockwork, it seems to happen each September. Something happens, and suddenly webdev twitter is taken over with a battle royale over the value of CSS. Time for half the front-end development world to dismiss the value of the other half.
