    White 'liberals' and 'progressives' and their tokens are so dedicated to the idea that it has to be something other racism that has put America in the position that it's in.

    Yes, it's an economic issue. Yes, it's a class issue. But history has shown us time and time again white people will disadvantage themselves to make sure Black Brown and Native folks don't get what they have.

    That's not a class or economic issue.

    Nah, it's THE factor. How else do you think conservatives in America have gotten white people to consistently vote against their own interests?

    Read about the Southern Strategy. Nothing galvanizing white support like racism. Nothing. Not jobs, not healthcare, no education.

    It's racism.

    i kinda like when reading material makes it clear who is speaking by putting names beside dialogue like in script writing, and when they style different dialogue differently/use a different font or colour to denote who's speaking

    i was about to say "after i achieve a permanent living situation like a mortgaged/owned house first" but then i realised:
    a) that probably won't happen for decades, if ever
    b) it'd probably be hard to maintain a mortgage while being gone for like a month or two circling north america
    c) i don't really need a place to live to go on a road trip. just gas and food money, and a place to store my furniture and belongings while i'm gone
    d) if i don't do it soon i probably never will

    the dream is to do a cross country road trip in canada and then maybe visit a few states in areas i haven't been to that are radically different than what i've already experienced

    linux on the switch is cool and all but what i'm really looking forward to is android on the switch. imagine how many mobile games that would let you play way more comfortably than a phone could ever do
