just using this time to begrudgingly do a bit of singleplayer

i knew 2 hours of rainmaker at a decent time and when i was actually willing to play had to have some catch. how long is server maintenance usually anyway?

i can probably safely play only an hour or two of splat right now because i'm basically falling asleep, and splat zones is up next so i won't feel compelled to play

splatoon makes it hard to stop playing because i wanna do a little bit of everything but game modes only change every 2 hours so if i want to play 3 different game modes i'll probably be on like 4-6 hours

do i play splatoon today and inevitably play too much of it or do i avoid splatoon and boredly shuffle through the day without purpose

@noiob not huge on overwatch but i looked up the mousepad and i would so get it if it didn't have a razer logo on it, and also if it were like. affordable

@noiob i'm not sure if any stores set out mousepads to try anymore, nor are there any computer stores around here from what i can tell, but maybe i'll just take a chance on something cheap off amazon someday

the madcatz ones are like $10 on there thanks to madcatz dissolving, so that'd be doable

@noiob i've been trying to find an affordable solid mouse surface (metal or hard plastic or something) rather than the fabric ones but i've only ever seen one and monoprice no longer sells them

@noiob nah, it doesn't slide well on them. just use my bare wood desk. crumbs probably get underneath it frequently though i try my best to keep the area clean

@noiob not quite sure. it seems like a decent material but it may be sticking on my desk a little? or the desk might be sightly reflecting/refracting the laser? not sure

i think i have a problem with precision aiming when it comes to my computer mouse and i'm not sure if that's a thing with me, the sensitivity of the mouse, or the surface i'm using the mouse on.

it's a wireless laser mouse, pretty high quality, and i think it might not be sliding as smoothly on my desk as i'd like, but it also doesn't do well on a fabric mousepad

i've always struggled with starting stories, which means i just need to write until it gets good, then figure out how to rewrite the start to properly fit and flow with the rest. easier said than done.
