i've spend the evening writing a little renpy style engine with ink+unity and it's been really fun! ink is so good!

my knowledge of compilers is:

- i know the phrase "abstract syntax tree", but not what it means
- i think i kind of know what "llvm" is
- i once heard someone say the word "lexer"

currently writing a compiler-ish thing with exactly zero knowledge about how compilers work

@hoodie you could totally do that with a batch file or a simple python script pretty easily

use the windows task scheduler to have a script run at the specified times and either launch or close the program depending on which time it is

(you might actually be able to start/stop the program directly from the task scheduler but i'm not sure)

but last night when i launched it there were two processes in the volume mixer, one which controlled the sound and one which controlled the music and it was super weird
