@Zero_Democracy i feel the same, especially after having the misfortune of working with slipknot fans for a bit. i do think the prospect of making metal that's got a poppy core to its song structure, while also playing with electronic music and maybe a little hip hop, i dont think thats a terrible idea.

I've had the song Before I forget by slipknot and I am not happy about it. They do songwriting similar to pop music where it relies on memorable melodies... But then it has all of this toxic masculine hardcore bro shit. I think in a better world nu metal could get a comeback and it not be a bad thing
