Okay so here's a demo of my latest project I'm working on. It's an interactive fiction puzzle game where you play as a disaster relief worker at a radio station.

In the process of submitting my most recent demo of my project to itch.io for the partially created jam. Also making a cover for it. But got sidetracked and i had to do a bit of chores. Also gonna smoke and eat. But after that I'll have a public demo up for whoevers interested.

im getting too in my head with setting up the secrets and stuff. I should make it simple and kids friendly, because at the end of the day, Im trying to tell a story as much as I am trying to make a puzzle game. Narrative puzzles = should be obvious. Gameplay puzzles = should be hard

Okay so I've implemented more easy to pick up tricks I learned from A Series of Unfortunate Events. A simple enough general phrase anybody could say, but deliberately worded enough for the player to pick up that they're part of an informed group. A much more abstract puzzle piece with which the player has to use to make connections between people, and hidden groups, letters, events.

My mom was talking at the top of her lungs at me about shit I was visibly not interested in, and distracted me from my work when I finally got into the right headspace to start working. God. DAMN. FUCK PEOPLE.

I mean, I probably wanna split free vs paid stuff 50/50 in the grand scheme. Tho I mean like I don't really do it as a hobby, but in the super srs compulsion kind of way. also i would consider it to be like, career.

@eribloodlust i put together a neocities page that isnt particularly complex, and i have been building prototypes in a html/js/css based engine. am i a dev? or "front end dev" or whatever?
