I need to run my own Moku Pona instead of relying on gopher.black. I just don't want to put in the effort of populating the feed list.

@solderpunk These results are in DiggieDog on a Moto G 5S. I'd guess for my old Moto G 1, take off 10 in either dimension.
Landscape: 70 (80 would probably also work)
Portrait: 50That said, I normally read gopher on my phone (portrait mode) through Soweli Lukin, which is very smart about wrapping text that looks like it is wrappable, and not wrapping text that looks like it might be code or ASCII art.

Do you read #gopher on a phone, tablet, or some other heathen device which can't properly display text wrapped at 80 columns like God intended? Please visit gopher://zaibatsu.circumlunar.space:70/0/~solderpunk/files/text-wrapping-experiment.txt on your device and tell me the *widest* number of columns which renders neatly for you.

Autumn remains lurking, sensed but unseen, around the corner from this morning, claws dripping with venom and acidic drool dropping from its gaping mouth.
Good morning, fediverse. Good morning.

In case you missed it, Glimpse is a fork of the excellent photo editor GIMP:
You can follow Glimpse on here:
The name is changed for those who find "Gimp" problematic/offensive, and there are plans to tweak the interface too 👍
There's a good article discussing the project on The Register:

One of the great comedy writers, and one of the comedy champions who made “Animaniacs” and “Pinky and the Brain” genuinely funny, has left us. Gordon Bressack, thank you for all the laughs. May the laughter you’ve created in your cartoons echo around the world forever.

It integrates with Pocket for articles. I'm pretty skeptical about Pocket, and haven't created an account even though it's owned by Mozilla and integrated in Firefox. I may give it a try in order to read long form articles on the eReader, though.

It has a browser good enough to run brutaldon; I'll show pictures later today.

My refurbished Kobo Touch finally arrived yesterday, after two failed delivery attempts. There are some frustrating things about it (mandatory setup I had to find a windows box for, none of the fonts are perfect), but overall it's pretty nice. Screen refresh rate is good for e-ink.
