@sporiff i's not like the FOSS worls is waking up to the necessity of good looks, it's rather the REAL world is waking up to FOSS. more and more good UI/UX designers start to work on FOSS project. imo. (i hope that is true). the victory will be ours!

@sporiff well, looks are very important. taking all things FLOSS into account, the most pleasing to the eye for me is Gnome. Too bad it's not as usable as i3 wm to me, but I really like its looks and ecosystem

@strypey yeah, that was an era of unstable HTTP, downloads would interrupt, so you needed a download manager
