Marco@distelfliege I can relate to this, but in a very different field. I do a lot of web and app accessibility work, I test stuff, provide feedback, and on my blogs (one English, one German), I also blog about this. But because I‘m not out on the streets or in TV talkshows with this, this remains mostly invisible to people not affected by it as well. Sometimes people get awarded with accessibility awards, and I, not speaking at conferences each month, was never among them.
