@clacke @schestowitz why do you think Arabs are inferior and not worthy of trade?
-
@roka @schestowitz If you think human rights offenses are intrinsic to arabness, you are the one who thinks them inferior, not me.
-
@clacke @schestowitz not all arabs are terrorists and by refusing to sell them weapons, you're discriminating against them. is that incorrect?
-
@roka @schestowitz
I'm not interested in whether they are Arab or European. I'm not interested in whether they are Muslim, Christian, Atheist or Buddhist.
If they are Arab and uphold civil rights, arm them as much as you like. If they are European and tick all the boxes in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Qatar#Individual_rights , ostracize them or be a hypocrite when you arm them with one hand and claim to be defending human rights with your other hand.
I'm not interested in the terrorism claims. The US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran and many more all fund terrorism.
The Qatari government are guilty of abhorrent governance and legal practices and should absolutely be discriminated against.

@clacke @schestowitz all i want is to call things by name - refusal to sell X weapons means you're discriminating against X in matters of weapon trade. for whatever reason.
-
@roka Sure.
-
@clacke @schestowitz thus, qatar and saudi arabia is an '''inferior''' trade partner in this sense
-
@roka A country that claims to control weapons exports should discriminate against countries of they type they claim not to be selling to, yes.
But you want to twist that inte saying that Arabs would be considered inferior people, which is entirely beside the point.
