For what it's worth, it's actually in a Quite Good phase at the moment, the last series had a few bangers in it (although also one outright stinker). No idea about the fandom, but *incoming dangerous opinion* I don't really understand why people say they are "in a fandom" (as opposed to just liking a thing) anyway.
