I don't think having some logo for the fediverse is the same as centralized authority. Even anarchism has logos. Plus the brand recognition factor and all that.

There seems to be quite a few artists around. Create some logos. Maybe have a vote on it, or more likely just attempt to find maximum consensus since I'm sure any voting system would be instantly botted.
