   working with a friend, on making a #bsd mastodon instance.

   dns has propagated. host is installed. guest vm (the instance itself) is installed. today: user creation, the various daemons, and maybe some start scripts.

   unsure when we'll open it for registrations. we'll need a CoC, and reserve a few specific users for special use. hopefully today/tomorrow, but maybe on the 1st.

      @phessler Glad to read that and eager to register but take it easy please. A few days more is fine (though, I admit I like an instance opening the first day of the year).
