Elly, nasty enby :heart_pan:@cwebber My official position is that the W3C has done the wrong thing. I worry deeply about the future of the open web, and the future of standards. The motivations of the W3C are unclear here, but appear to be financial. If financial considerations trump what is morally right, then the standard is not open to what is technologically best for all parties; rather, it is open to who has the deepest pockets.
