      @baldur Yes! Open source/open access texts and journals need to be more popular. There was a big push for this from student organizations when I worked for one several years back. The biggest push back from academics and gov'ts was a perception that open source was somehow inferior, as though it was just some random guy publishing a textbook, rather than fellow academics who just happened to value open access to information.
