   I'm listening to twit.tv/floss463 about #linkerd and it's stunning. It seems to be making concrete and convenient a lot of stuff that I've been working with and thinking about for, I'm not exaggerating, the last 20 years.
   
   From the business integration we did when we simply used Apache as a service purl location, to the thoughts I've had about microservices and my vaporware project #microbelog.
   
   I always say I don't have any tinkering time, but for this thing I think I'll have to make some tinkering time, or really, work time.
   
   Will also look into this #kong thing a potential client mentioned the other week.

         Alternatives dropped at the end:
         
         - #istio + #envoy
         - Buoyant's own next product #conduit, which works inside #kubernetes
         - Doing stuff with nginx, but that sounds like what we did 20 years ago with Apache.
